S2 + BE + P2 (V1) TO V2/ HAVE P2 (V2)

IT + BE + P2 (V1) + THAT + S2 + V2

 

Ví dụ:

1. People think he stole my car.

        It is thought that he stole my car.

        He is thought to have stolen my car.

2. People thought that he stole my car.

       It was thought that he stole my car.

       He was thought to steal my car.

 

Lưu ý:

• Khi V1 và V2 không cùng một hệ thì ví dụ hiện tại – quá khứ, quá khứ - quá khứ hoàn thành thì phải sử dụng nguyên thể hoàn thành (TO HAVE P2)
• Khi V2 và V2 cùng hệ thì ví dụ hiện tại – hiện tại, quá khứ - quá khứ thì sử dụng nguyên thể (TO INFINITIVE)
