Ví dụ:
- People think he stole my car.

Lưu ý:
- Khi V1 và V2 không cùng một hệ thì ví dụ hiện tại – quá khứ, quá khứ - quá khứ hoàn thành thì phải sử dụng nguyên thể hoàn thành (TO HAVE P2)
- Khi V2 và V2 cùng hệ thì ví dụ hiện tại – hiện tại, quá khứ - quá khứ thì sử dụng nguyên thể (TO INFINITIVE)
